LAZY WOMAN'S COOKIES

Ingredients

• 1/2 Cup 2% Milk
• 2 Tbsp. Butter
• 2 Tbsp. powdered Cocoa
• 1-1/2 Cup Sugar
• 1 tsp. Vanilla
• 1/2 Cup Crunchy Peanut Butter or Cashew Butter
• 3 Cups Quick Oatmeal
• (optional) 1/2 Cup Raisins

Directions

1. Put about 1 yard of waxed paper on counter top.
2. Boil together the following for 1 minute, stirring constantly:
   • milk
   • butter
   • cocoa
   • sugar
3. Remove from heat and add the other ingredients, quickly (stirring all the while), until well-mixed.
4. Drop by teaspoonful onto wax paper to cool.

A family favorite for at least 4 generations now - these cookies bear a remarkable resemblance to ... well, let's just say they go by another name, starting 2 generations past Pearl.
